Three of Local 1249's “Tree Chapter” members receive the “I.B.E.W. Life Saving Award”.
The following is a portion of the letter we received from the International Office in Washington, D.C.

“It is with great pleasure that the IBEW sends three Life Saving Awards Plaques and pins to be presented to Brothers Donald Halbert, Josh Morrow and Tom West, members of your local union who have now joined a small and honored group of our members-those who have saved a human life.

Please present these Life Saving Award Plaques and pins to the above mentioned brothers, with congratulations and gratitude.

It is with congratulations and great pride that we present the I.B.E.W. Life Saving Award, the highest award the I.B.E.W. has to offer to these three men who by their quick thinking and unselfish actions saved a human life.
