IBEW 1249 at the NSUJL Benefit Rodeo & Climbing for Lost Linemen
IBEW 1249 was proud to attend the NSUJL Benefit Rodeo and Climbing for Lost Linemen—incredible events that bring our trade together to honor fallen lineworkers and support their families.
A huge thank-you to our Journeyman and Apprentice competitors for donating their time and representing 1249 with pride, and to Daryl Swiernik for hanging a lantern in memory of our Brother Dillen Deveines.
These events are made possible by NSUJL (National Sisterhood United for Journeymen Linemen)—a nonprofit founded in 2012 by a group of IBEW spouses who saw the need for a support system dedicated to linemen and their families. What started as a grassroots effort has grown into a nationwide organization that provides critical financial and emotional support to families after a loss or serious injury.
We’re proud to support NSUJL and thankful for everything they do for our trade and our families.
